H.H. THAKORE SAHEB JITENDRA SINH PARMAR is born in the erstwhile princely state of MULI, Gujarat, India in 1945. He is the 24th H.H. THAKORE SAHEB of MULI and has completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and his schooling from The Rajkumar College, Rajkot. He worked in the corporate world for a few years and today has turned his ancestor’s family AMBIKA NIVAS PALACE (1935), Muli into a leading heritage palace resort in India.
He is the managing trustee of India’s first princely boarding school established in 1870 - The Rajkumar College, Rajkot for over 16 years. He played first class cricket for 17 years and was the cricket captain of the Saurashtra Ranji Trophy, Mahindra & Mahindra, Delhi University, Bombay Gymkhana, St. Stephen’s College and The Rajkumar College. He was the billiards champion of Saurashtra, Mumbai and was also the tennis champion of Saurashtra. Many world legends in the game of billiards regarded him as a world top 50 billiards player.
